Frustration !

It is what it is! That’s right pregnancy IS WHAT IT IS… And every one is different.

I’m heading into the home straight now people with only weeks left, and are the Hannays excited? Hell yeah we are ! Are we shitting ourselves ? F$&k yes ! But in all honesty I just want to meet him, I don’t think I have ever loved anything before without actually seeing it so much in my life.

I’m at the pointy end now, where the size of my tummy has increased dramatically, and I’m pretty sure it’s going to continue to grow even more so, I have developed an awesome woddle, I can’t bend over to tie my shoe laces up, (well I can but it takes so much effort and lack of oxygen, it’s best to sit down), sleeping is a pretty big mission and having to roll over is like trying to move a beached whale, and my bladder is a size of a shot glass, so I live in the toilet… But you know one thing I know… IT IS WHAT IT IS!

As I get bigger now I am getting more and more comments thrown at me like
“When are you going to stop training”
“Are you harming the baby lifting that”
“Don’t you think you should rest”
“You will do damage”
My usual response to these comments is a big smile and a short answer of NO!, then a visual in my head of me knocking them out with my right hand. Yes I’m still training and I will continue to do so till D day, no I can’t lift as much as I used too, or as fast. Yeah sure I haven’t hit a PB in 10 months I haven’t been able to run without feeling like I’m going to pee or have an arm pop out. But at the end of the day I’m pregnant I don’t have a disability, I’m pregnant. And guess what IT IS WHAT IT IS, and I’m proud of it.

So if you see me training with my belly, keep your opinions to yourself, and just remember even pregnant I could probably still kick your ass.
